Mindfulness Course

Our 4 week mindfulness course is open to anyone who is displaying symptoms of stress, anxiety and low mood. Upon completion, the course will provide individuals with tools on how to alleviate stress tension and worry.

Concentrating on the basics such as meditation tips and breathing exercises, you will understand how to deal with difficult circumstances and ease anxiety. This course will help you to relieve symptoms of depression and stress. Each participant will receive a free audio copy each week to use at home.

A suggested donation of £4 or 1 time credit per session is asked for our mindfulness course

New Mum Friendship Group

New Mum Friendship Group - Being a new mum can be difficult to adjust to for anyone. Being a new mum who is not feeling 100% themselves can make this feel worse.

If you are a new mum who is finding it difficult to adjust to life with a new baby, if you are a new mum who has feelings of low mood this group is for you.

Talking to other mums who feel the same as you and by talking and engaging with our group leaders who have previously experienced postnatal depression, can have a positive impact on your mood.

Group leaders give handy tips on how to deal with stress, anxiety and thoughts of worry and negativity.

The group guarantees, laughter, support and above all else long lasting friendship.

The closed group runs for 5 weeks. After the 5 weeks, mums can continue to come for support and meet up with new friends at our coffee and play meetings.

Next friendship group to start Monday 11th September.

A suggested dontation of £2 or 1 time credit per session is asked for parents wishing to use the crèche provided

Mum +One Fitness

Mum +One fitness is designed for postnatal mums of all abilities and levels with babies aged from 2 months to 1 year old. The classes are fun and enabiling, it incorporates cardio, dance, toning, strength and stretching.

45 Minute Sessions run on Monday's

14:00 to 14:45

No sessions till after Christmas

Family Coffee Group

Aimed at parents and families affected by both long term and perinatal mental health difficulties, stress, anxiety and low mood.

The groups are facilitated by those with a lived experience who offer friendly, non-professional advice and peer support.

Babies and toddlers are welcome to attend
